CO₂ emissions in metric tons per trillion dollars of GDP. Measures how carbon-efficient an economy is. Calculated from EDGAR-JRC emissions data (EN.GHG.CO2.MT.CE.AR5) divided by World Bank GDP (NY.GDP.MKTP.CD). Lower values indicate a more carbon-efficient economy.
